CASHRECOVERY®
Check for double, over and incorrect payments
CASHRECOVERY® is an audit service in which we check the creditors (supplier agreements), normally for the last three financial years (up to 10 years in the past), and double payment/overpayment by means of account reconciliation and review of the supplier agreements (e.g. non-deducted bonuses/discounts etc.) subsequently win back lost funds.
In initial discussions, we are often asked whether these incorrect postings still exist in the age of SAP and automated accounting. Our answer is as constant as it is accurate: "It's not a question of whether you have double transfers, just how many!"
what brings in CASH RECOVERY
Project?
Measurable quantitative and qualitative results
Qualitative benefit: We give you an overview of common sources of error and their causes, discover possible process weaknesses or development potential. You will receive all results from us in the form of a management letter with a summary of the results and corresponding recommendations.
Quantitative benefit: The subsequent realization of non-recurring income in the amount of +/- 0.1% of the purchasing volume pa means, for example, for a company > 1 billion EUR purchasing volume, based on experience, significant six-digit EUR amounts. With this specific system we have already achieved significant results in many companies - we also work for ten DAX companies. After recovering money (that would otherwise have been irretrievably lost), we generate significant extraordinary returns.
Our service can be represented graphically as follows:
The question of questions: How can double transfers happen?
The potential for CASHRECOVERY®
Experience has shown that this results from several factors:
Retirement of top performers or experts and/or major downsizing
Introduction of new systems or system changes
Organizational changes such as (de-)/centralization
Unclear contract wording
IT input errors and/or incorrectly stored parameters
Communication deficits or unclear competencies
Our CASHRECOVERY® approach
We analyze your database with the help of our system-supported algorithms. Several standard runs and a total of 8 logs are created in which we independently check whether there has been a double payment and whether a settlement has taken place later.
After the project, a management letter is created in which the sources of error that have occurred and their causes are documented in detail.
